Bolivia – WTHN – Today, Spero News reported that Bolivian President Evo Morales linked eating hormonally enhanced chicken with problems in masculinity, saying,
“The chicken that we eat is chock-full of feminine hormones. So, when men eat these chickens, they deviate from themselves as men.”
The chicken – homosexuality link was presaged in the US by a WorldNetDaily author, Jim Rutz, who linked soy products with an upsurge in bromance around the world. Rutz said, “Soy is feminizing, and commonly leads to…sexual confusion and homosexuality.”
One source who spoke only on condition of anonymity said, “You can blame the whole culture war on Colonel Sanders. That’s who started it. Then it was chicken nuggets, and chicken tenders. Now you understand how those chicken dishes got their names.”
The anonymous ex-chicken farmer said the disclosure from the Bolivian president could be devastating to both the American fast food and fashion industries.
Elsewhere, a prominent Iranian cleric countered the Bolivian president by saying that feminized chickens also cause earthquakes, but only if they are promiscuous.
I have a second cousin who is married to a German who is a drug dealer in Bolivia and Peru.
I think he works for Bayer.
Like Jim, I like dark meat, though I prefer the thigh. Dark meat which is higher in fat would be that meat likely to store more hormone…. if it were true hormones were used on poultry. DES (a synthetic estrogen) was used on poultry but when found to promote cancer was phased out in the US by the late 1970s (I did eat a lot of Hoosier fried chicken as a youth). Female hormones are used in animals meant for consumption, however, that only occurs in cattle and sheep. Federal regulations in the US do not allow their use in poultry or hogs. I doubt Europe allows it either. If it should happen in Latin American countries then that would be the Bolivians’ own fault.
On the other hand feminization of freshwater fishes in the Mississippi basin has been associated with the use of birth control pills and the hormones they release.

I’m having a difficult time sorting fact from fiction out on this one…I can usually catch satire, but it seems like Rutz and the Prez are serious. Are they? Sheesh.
Technically, I guess I’m an accessory to the feminizing of American males. I work for not one, but two different, Chick-fil-As on the side, delivering small…er…”manhood”-shrinking doses to unsuspecting men all around the ATL. And to think…good Southern Baptist Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-fil-A, actually invented the chicken nugget (not the Kentuckian-who-shall-not-be-named).
