Vanderbilt University professor says Islamic law provides death penalty for homosexuals

Does Uganda want to be an Islamic country or a Christian nation? Listen to this professor from Vanderbilt University say that Islam calls for the death of practicing homosexuals.

The link is here.

You can read more about this professor here.

I wonder if the mainstream press will cover this. I also wonder if the Islamic element of Uganda has infiltrated those Christian clerics who are calling for dramatic punishments and violence.

  1. Thanks for posting this. and AT LAST, we get the TRUTH!

Islam CONDEMNS homosexuality. In Islamic society, they don’t

worry about “homophobia” or being regarded as “bigoted”, and they

don’t debate whether or not they should “marry” gays or allow them

into the military. They just cut their heads off.

Indeed, in Muslim society, being gay is just about the worst thing

you can do. Surprised? Disappointed? Too bad, because that’s

Islam, folks. Homosexuality is clearly condemned in the Koran,

and sorry, but there’s no comprises.

This is what absolutely amazes me about people on the Left in

the USA, who demonized President George Bush beyond words

for trying to protect us from fanatic Muslim terrorists. Liberals don’t

realize how misguided they are on this issue. For if the bin Laden

types – whom the Left in this country tacitly support every chance

they get – were to ever truly get into power, it would be the liberal

‘reformers’, druggies, atheists, feminists, and MOST of all gays,

who would be sent to the executioner, and NOT the so-called

‘Christian Right’, who are ACCEPTED under the Koran. Don’t believe

    that? The Koran says

[2.62] “Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish,

the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD,

and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will

receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear,

    nor will they grieve.”

This is partly why I think the American Left is absolutely insane when

it comes to the War on Terror. They don’t know who their true friends

    and their true enemies are.

  2. No person is born homosexual, just like no one is born a thief, a liar or murderer. People acquire these evil habits due to a lack of proper guidance and? education.

While we are discovering a lot about gender and gender ambiguity, I am certain that we will learn more about “evil” habits, too. I think most people are born with the potential to have sex with the same gender and to lie and to murder.

Although claiming something to be inborn or not does not make it any more or less something to pursue or abandon.

  3. No person is born homosexual, just like no one is born a thief, a liar or murderer. People acquire these evil habits due to a lack of proper guidance and? education.

More untruthful words have never been spoken.

  4. No person is born homosexual, just like no one is born a thief, a liar or murderer. People acquire these evil habits due to a lack of proper guidance and? education.

There are many reasons why it is forbidden? in Islam. Homosexuality is dangerous for the health of the individuals and for the society. It is a main cause of one of the most harmful and fatal diseases. It is disgraceful for both men and women. It degrades a person. Islam teaches that men should be men and women should be women. Homosexuality deprives a man of his manhood and a woman of her womanhood. It is the most un-natural way of life. Homosexuality leads to the destruction of family life.

Please note that there is a difference to actually being involved in a homosexual act -which is a sin – from having sexual feelings that you try to control, that you don’t express in public, which is not sinful if you? try to control them. If medical or psychological counseling helps, then get it.

What is sinful in homosexuality is the actual sexual act between the couple? of a similar sex. if you transform your desires into a struggle and a challenge to overcome it and not physically commit it, you will get the reward for it.

Remember, there is in this world many compulsive gamblers,? alcoholics, adulterers, thieves, but many of them control it and refrain from doing it. The same thing with homosexuality.

This issue might actually turn out to be a good publicity in a way. More eyes will be opened, people will get curious, and try to seek the truth independently by themselves without being influenced by others. Have you ever thought that the more you attack, the more it grows? This is something you will never understand until you sincerely seek the truth. May God guide us all

  5. A bit OT, but that is why Constantine and other “Christian” ruler waited until they were on their death beds to confess and be baptized. [oy vey!]

  6. Oh… I meant to mention some other on Islam, got me off on a tangent above.

    .

You can repent in Islam (they’d probably only whip/scourge you) and get out of the death penalty. You have to promise never ever to do it again. And I note that I have seen online imams suggesting NARTH to even their questioners who state they have homosexual ‘thoughts’ even in countries such as Lebanon. They state that there is no such group to help gays in Islam, probably because there is no such thing as confidentiality concerning sin in Islam, thus a psychiatrist would have to report homosexual activity. Which sorta mimics the Ugandan law, so you may be correct about Islam creeping in – in that respect.

    .

If you are unrepentant, then you are put to death. Though one person told me that you would be put to death even if you repent (he was a knowledgable Palestinian Arab now living in Kuwait). The point being that the death penalty is more compassionate, lest the person fail and recommit the sin, then die without repentance. Thus in killing a repentant person (who might be thought to recommit the sin) one was saving their soul and sending them to heaven.

    .

    Nice huh?

  7. Eh… people always bore down and get to the death penalty with the reliigon. And just like the Westboro Baptist people some Muslims would do the same with their religion and forget about the ‘details.’ The professor mentioned the ‘details’ existed and that they were long and drawn out (I’m not sure that they are) but the questioner did not want to hear them. As far as I know, the details include that at least 3 – maybe 4 – witnesses have to attest to penetration (thus have seen it) occurring. Penetration of what? Well, just like Ssempa they’re one-minded and mean the anus. Which then leads you to a lot of questions….. such as what about all the other acts? And, 4 other men? Or 8 women (they’re only worth half as much). All of which means it is sorta difficult to actually convict someone of homosexual conduct in Islam unless they’re doing it out on a street corner.

    .

Now there might be one way that a death sentence would come quite easily. Come out, admit you are gay. You could be a virgin and that would still get you put to death under Islam because in the gnosis of the Qur’an there is no such thing and sexual orientation (same as the Bible) and therefore such an admission would be seen as one who has had sexual contact.

    .

I think the number of witnesses idea is why the Muslims always want to form ‘gangs’ to ‘root-out’ gays. Then there is the hadith (saying of Muhammad) that says that Allah shakes on his throne every time a two men have sex. When a Muslim told me that I told him his god must think an earthquake is going on.

    .

But the professor is correct, there is no county which follows sharia law to the letter. I do not think it is an infiltration of Islam into Christianity. I think it is Christianity and the English law that formerly was the rule in Uganda. It seems that Buganda did not care too much to involve tribal government in peoples sexual lives. But the religion and ‘democracy’ that Britain brought did.

    .

The same thing happened with some of America’s native groups. With whites came institutionalized homophobia in the form of laws and religion. I read the online newspapers covering the Dine’ (Navajo) several years ago when their tribal leaders were pushing to define marriage heterosexually. Many were for it. Others were against it stating their traditional religious views concerning ‘two-spirit’ persons. They felt the law was unnecessary. But white law and white religion won out. It would be much the same in Uganda, except now Uganpureeda gets to claim the upper hand, the more pure and moral position as the old white, western guard has now corrupted itself.
