Apparently, our Christian president told some whoppers:

Is it just idealistic for me to believe that politicians and politics should be better than all this? I don’t expect perfection in any one or any system, but the fact that when I vote I always feel I am voting for the lesser of two evils is a pretty awful testament to politics today. At least I know I am not alone in feeling this way about voting, even if the voter is choosing a different candidate
David,
ALL politicians in office have told some whoppers. Fact check them all. Its incredibly sad and the reason for my post above. You won’t find a politician who has been in office for awhile who hasn’t done this. Why bother interviewing them? Why bother having debates when you never get any upfront information, or when what you do get is so small as to be meaningless?

This is why I tire of these debates. They have become meaningless. Its almost impossible to get upfront and honest answers out of any politician whether they are speaking during a debate or as a guest on some news program. Have politicians always been like this I wonder? Are the debates nothing more than an opportunity to see who is the better public speaker? And we wonder why people have become so jaded with politics and politicians in this country.
