The Anti-Homosexuality Bill will be tabled in March if all goes

according to plan.

Authored by Ndorwa West MP David Bahati, the proposed legislation will be discussed as soon as the new Parliament is sworn in.

    Still pretending to be an expert on Ugandan politics?

    Supposing Muhame’s little side-kick is right, I wonder how this will affect the Parliamentary arithmetic (Buturo is one of those ‘locked out’, I assume) …

    Ejecting 77 MPs will not affect the ability of the legislature to carry out its functions because the remaining MPs are more than double the numbers required to constitute the minimum requirement of a quorum. (BTW, if you are not sure what a “quorum” is, then go and read it up in a dictionary.)
