In 2016 we learned that there are people in this country who not only disagree with us, but use a whole different dictionary. Their worldview is alien to that of traditional voters. There’s Democrats, there’s Republicans, and then there’s this weird third group we mostly overlooked. And their concept of reality doesn’t jibe with anything we know.

I have to think that the Jordans and Gaetzes know exactly what’s going on, and exploit this third group, some of whom are basically orcs, because it enlarges the pool of voters they can use. The Jordans and Gaetzes know damned well Trump lost decisively, and that Biden is going to be the president. But they can use the orcs to swell their numbers.

The problem is, they’re still orcs.
