John MacArthur was already forced to step down from his leadership position at The Master’s University due in part to his dishonesty and mishandling of sexual assault victims, meanwhile his institution remains on probation and at risk of losing accreditation.

So MacArthur certainly does have a history of self-serving dishonesty and misconduct.
