And wouldn’t you know it, the number of flu cases was way down.

I usually get a flu shot anyway, so when the health department recommended it I went ahead and got it, but I had been thinking that while yes, we do need to minimize flu cases to avoid stressing the healthcare system I was inclined to think that the masks and social distancing would help reduce the # of flu cases in any event.

If we can stay that way, we should see cases dropping in-state.

However, school reopenings are on the horizon, with the accompanying superspread events.

There’s now upswings in cases in several Midwest states that are tracing back to them.
