Yes, this is just a rephrasing of my question. and the answer is No they are not. You have shown no cases where CA has ALLOWED indoor protests WITHIN ITS JURISDICTION to occur. None. Seattle doesn’t count because it is outside the jurisdiction of CA.

Indoors vs. Outdoors is not a false distinction. it is just a false claim on your part. No matter how many times you repeat a false statement, it won’t make it true.

Do you not understand that Seattle isn’t in California? Newsome has no authority to stop protests in another state. So this isn’t an example of an unconstitutional viewpoint bias.

Now I would agree that protest you showed is a bad idea and more likely to spread the virus (although at least most these protestors were wearing masks) than an outdoor one. However, it has no bearing on the CA case.

CM has already addressed the distinction between being indoors and outdoors wrt the spread of the virus.

And you are incomplete about the spread of the virus. For starters indoor locations use recirculated air which cannot filter out the virus. This why so many people get colds and flu bugs on airline flights (recirculated air in a much smaller volume).

Outside, the atmosphere disperses the virus aerosols quickly (and the UV and heat also serve to dry out and mitigate aerosols). That is why there has been almost NO cases of people getting COVID from transmission outside (as long as sanitizing, cleanliness, and social distancing is used). If you do identical people separation, mask-wearing, etc inside and outside and have the same exposure time, you will be more likely to get the virus inside.

Read up on computational fluid dynamics, aerosol science, and fluid mechanics first and get a clue.
