There’s some contemporary Christian songs I don’t mind but why do they have to play it SO LOUD? I’m not an old fogey, I don’t mind somewhat loud music but it’s become ear-splitting in so many churches. I have an ear condition where very loud noise can cause me weeks of tinnitus & other problems. Overly loud music is also detrimental to the elderly with certain types of hearing loss and to children on the autism spectrum.

I’ve quit accepting invitations to visit friends’ churches because of this issue.
