I am simply addressing the issues I see in your comments. If you remember, all these segregation laws were influenced and made by men, because at that time, women had almost no legal rights and therefore their perspectives were hardly considered relevant in political discourse. Granting women equal rights also brought in newer perspectives on race relations in America, hence resulted in passing civil rights acts.
