I've not heard of either of these men before this week but as I've read their tweets and blog posts it seems to me their real beef with Clinton is his politics and the discovery of improperly cited articles is a "gotcha" motivated by a desire to embarrass a colleague for his politics rather upholding professional standards.

I'm usually pretty politically aware and am astonished that I could have missed these politically interesting aspects. Knowing only Prof. Throckmorton's politics (he liked Chuck Colson... ughhhhhhhh) are you saying that Tim Clinton is a political liberal? As a dedicated liberal myself, I can assure you that Clinton's politics (whatever they are) aren't a motivating factor for him, but integrity is.

Perhaps, you should read this post before you decide if there is anything to be concerned about. /2018/08/15/tim-clinton-borrows-from-the-wsj-and-chuck-colson/

In contrast to Clinton, if you have specific content which you believe violates copyright, please point that out to me at warrenthrockmorton @ gmail. com and I will either correct the problem or explain why I believe I have a fair use or right to use it. All images from the days when I was at Patheos were vetted by those editors, and since I have been back on my own, I believe are within the law. Again, however, if I have made an oversight, I will happy to correct the problem, remove the image or explain the reason I am using it.
