It’s real. Huge sums of money are unaccounted for. Donor funds have been used to buy profit-generating enterprises (schools, hospitals, a rubber plantation, and maybe more that we haven’t found yet).

They’re running a FIFA team in Myanmar; we haven’t been able to track down where the funds for that are coming from, but it wasn’t exactly disclosed to supporters, and it’s a real professional team buying and paying real professional players with real money; it’s not just a group of staff who happen to be good.

Read through Throckmorton’s blog posts on the subject. It’s a huge mess.

I thought he was in for trouble when he started growing hi hair long. He dresses like an Indian. I think people should be themselves but most evangelicals like short hair and a suit from a preacher. I stopped giving before any of this happened. I don’t know what to think. Is this a witch hunt or something real.

But being the no 1 religious organization collecting the biggest volume of foreign funds, they have invested money in many non-religious business enterprises like real estate-engineering college-medical collage etc which was fully a breach of trust.
