There’s a possible ‘sliver lining’ in this very dark cloud: if the Bill were voted through, a period of time would begin when it is ‘passed’, but not ‘law’ (the President must sign it for that), but the guilty MPs will have ‘exposed their hands’. That could provide ‘interesting’ opportunities for the next phase of the campaign against hatred, violence and murder.
