2016 is a long way off, and much could happen between now and then. especially give the ‘tense’ nature of UG politics just now. It might even be advantageous to Mbabazi (who is the current target of much of the intrigue) – some might on reflection prefer him to ‘M7 Mark II’.

Looks like the majority of MPs (i.e. those in the NRM) will accept it now … which is perhaps somewhat worrying for non-NRMers, to say the least.

Maybe we on this blog should take a closer look at what’s happening there and its possible implications for those who are ‘of the political opposition’?
