Nah. Absolutely everyone though Howard Dean sounded insane and weird on that occasion. I don’t think Santorum did himself any favors (is that even relevant since he’s such a mathematical long shot anyway?), but half of the people, me included, think the reporter was asking a juvenile question and deserved some heat. Anyone who has heard Santorum more than a time or two knows exactly what he meant about Romney. He was making that precise point in the debates.

He was quite clear that as regards health care Romney was uniquely unqualified to challenge the president.

I never got what was so terrible about Howard Dean calling out to his young supporters in their own manner. I saw nothing particularly crazy about it. Perhaps that says more about me than him.

BTW. It seems that Straight Grandmother has been engaged on some major sleuthing. I smell Pulitzers.
