For me this is the final evidence that american evangelicals never gave a d___ about ‘family values’ etc. That’s only a cloak that covers the real reason – they lust for pure – brute power. That’s really all they want – the power to get revenge on those ‘persecuting’ them since the 60’s – the power to tell everyone else what to do – the power to set up their militant american jesus (anti-christ) and kill everyone who doesn’t bow down – a calvinistic power with an attitude of, “I’m the elect therefore I’m god” that’s what they want – especially the Doug Sheets types. God have mercy on us if they ever get that power….

“Sheets prophesied about an event that was supposed to take place near Branson, MO called the Wilderness Outcry. He said God told him the event might start another great awakening. Eventually, the event was cancelled due to lack of funding.”

Deuteronomy 18:22 “If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.” So it looks like we should pay no attention to Sheets, whatever he says, since he obviously is no prophet. And, since when does the Lord say, “the event MIGHT start…” Sheets is, as my dad used to say, “three sheets to the wind.”
