They went off the rails long ago. Be kind to one another. That’s pretty much it. How hard is that for them to understand?
Now you know why I’m not a christian. I just try to follow his teachings, and that makes me about as far from organised, evangelical Christianity as it’s possible to go. No Easter Bunny. No Fairies at the bottom of the garden. No ghoulies and ghosties and long-legged beasties, and things that go “Bump” in the night. No magical incantations to bring rain. No pencils infested with evil spirits.
