This is very useful blog. Even the UK Foreign Ministry likes to be kept abreast of what's here!
Like 'Catholic Christianty', 'Evangelical Christianity' is broad thing: I'm sure there are plenty of good, honest evangelical Christians out there. The problem is that the 'baddies' make the most noise.
I spending quite a lot time reflecting on what might be their (the 'baddies'') 'problem', and I think that it is essentially insecurity: their lack of faith leads them to grasp at dubious 'certainties', with which they then wish to bash others.
As for Warren: I'm sure he can cope with brickbats from nut-cases ... just as others on this blog can.

Warren - you're an exception. In fact, you're exceptional, though I'm sure you know many professionals who have your integrity.
But I ask you, in all sincerity: how many evangelical professionals who are involved (with much publicity) in the culture wars aren't liars, to put it crudely? How many don't routinely not just engage in "spin", but actual falsehood?
What proportion? 10%? 50%? Or is it, to a first approximation, 100%?
Lest you get discouraged, go read the Screwtape Letters again. It doesn't matter if every single person in a group is guilty of grave moral failings if the message they claim to follow is actually true.
I do ask you though just when are Evangelicals with Integrity going to call out these professional liars with the same degree of publicity that they themselves use.
Your blog is more influential than you know. You've given non-Christians, even anti-Christians, an example that shows that not all Evangelicals routinely lie. That some go where the evidence takes them. That maybe there's something in the Christian religion worth looking at.
As regards its impact on Evangelicals... not so much though.
I wish you well. G_d knows you deserve it. You know what it's like to be unfairly maligned by all sides.
