Meanwhile, it seems that 'hole-in-corner' games are being played in Parliament by those trying to get the Bill through 'on the quiet'.
Back in March, the Cabinet said 'no' to the Bill; in May, it suddenly popped up again in the Parliament, only to be squashed by 'procedural issues'. Deja vu?
(Anyone know that game 'Splat the Rat'? This shenanigans rather reminds of it! The 'Rat' is the Bill, of course! :-) )

http://www.change.org/petitions/uganda-is-set-to-pass-the-kill-the-gays-bill-within-two-weeks I have started a petition - to inform Ugandans of the consequences if this Bill is enacted. I have almost 1000 signatures in one day. I also sent the petition to David Bahati. The petition is addressed to the US Ambassador, Board of Tourism Uganda and Trade Depts, as well as to Sec. of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and President Museveni.
The International LGBTI community is treating this as if the Bill could pass any minute. That is what we must do. Thanks Warren for your extraordinary work on this issue.
