It didn't start witih Kayanja's case in this go-around. It started with that press confrence called by Ssempa and Langa in which a Ssempa charismatic 'rival' was called out as a homosexual, Fr. Anthony Musaala. Nothing ever came of that.

.

One more reason why Christians may not be able to influence other Christians. Those in Uganda seem to be sniping at each other. There is even a Lord's Resistance Army in northern Uganda (southern Sudan) which once had an allied group called the Holy Spirit Movement. They would go into battle against government forces (of Museveni) in a cross formation.... only to be mowed down by government machine-gunners.

.

Am I correct that Ssempa is a pentacostal minister? Perhaps he is not among the Christian persons/ministers with which one should be concerned. Others may have another message, one which they simply have not had the power to put forward in Uganda. They may be shouting in the Ssempa/Museveni wind, but you would not hear them.
