The concept of sin is an ancient explanation for our human tendency to make up our own rules rather than follow the wisdom of former generations. And yes, we’re “born that way.” But we also have the free will to avoid or correct our behavior for the benefit of all.
So we should spend more time preventing wrong behavior than trying to nail down any one or more excuses for it. We’re all susceptible to getting onto the wrong path without some guidelines or moral compass. The “sexual orientation” paradigm has got to go!
