And this is coming from a conservative Christian. Stop accusing everyone of being a liberal as if you’re a Puritan looking for witchcraft or McCarthy looking for Communists. It comes off as paranoid and a little hysterical.
If the contract says that she has to admit to semi-nude or nude photos, then she should have followed the correct procedure. She didn’t fully disclose what she was supposed to have disclsed. Simple. If the stated consequence is that she loses her crown, then she should lose her crown.
I like the idea of Christians speaking up for their religious beliefs, but I’m not sure Ms. Prejean is the right person for the movement to rally around. She giving speeches about standing up for what Jesus would do . . . hard to swallow this from a woman who mutiliated her own body to be able to more sexily parade around in a bikini. Not sure a beauty pageant that requires these actions is the place for a Christian who wants to live every moment for God’s glory.
