Tim’s right. And this is coming from a conservative Christian. Stop accusing everyone of being a liberal as if you’re a Puritan looking for witchcraft or McCarthy looking for Communists. It comes off as paranoid and a little hysterical.
If the contract says that she has to admit to semi-nude or nude photos, then she should have followed the correct procedure. She didn’t fully disclose what she was supposed to have disclsed. Simple. If the stated consequence is that she loses her crown, then she should lose her crown.
I like the idea of Christians speaking up for their religious beliefs, but I’m not sure Ms. Prejean is the right person for the movement to rally around. She giving speeches about standing up for what Jesus would do . . . hard to swallow this from a woman who mutiliated her own body to be able to more sexily parade around in a bikini. Not sure a beauty pageant that requires these actions is the place for a Christian who wants to live every moment for God’s glory.

What a ridiculous statement. Sure, she should be punished, but losing her crown?? That’s like someone being sentenced to 20 years in prison for purse snatching.
Timothy is clearly a liberal who doesn’t like it when religious people speak their mind.

@Debbie Thurman: In addition, I would like to see a clearer statement regarding current modeling. Her statement to me on Friday might be a step in that direction.
From what we know now, her title should not be removed. I suspect she has lawyers who will agree.

As one who has done stupid and immoral things in my younger life, I am not in a position to cast the first stone at Carrie Prejean. I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt as regards her change of heart on her past modeling experiences. I hope others will do the same. Maybe all this is the only way God could get her attention about the improprieties of her modeling. If her Miss California title is stripped, she is being wrongly targeted, however.
