This is my first time doing the day of silence I was supported by my friends and a few people I didn’t know and suprisenly most of them were other girls. A few people scoffed at me by I didn’t care I stood for what I belive in. You should inform everyone you know about this day and ask them to join. If they say no ask the next person that’s how my friend chyenna got me to join.

I’m really looking forward in joining this cause next October. It will be in my next high school year, so I really hope I won’t forget. I am afraid that people will not take it as seriously as it should be taken. The cause is real, and the effect is real. It’s nothing to laugh about.

I took place in the day of silence and all my friends were very respective of my decision. today most of the said if they would’ve known that they would’ve done it too. it was SO cool no one doubted me and everyone approved. im glad to say I AM PRO-LIFE! I let people know what i believed in and they were excited that i showed that i didnt like what was going on. A lot of the people i hang out with were a big part of my decision because if my best friend would’ve given up her daughter i would’ve never gotten the chance to be a god-mother. life would be completly different if she would’ve done what her mom wanted. PRO-LIFE SAVED MY GOD-DAUGHTER AND FOR THAT I AM THANKFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the way such protests should be conducted.
I have a nuanced (some would say confused) view on the issue. That abortion in the first trimester is a tragedy, but not morally wrong unless coerced. And that abortion in the third trimester is the same as infanticide, justified only very rarely.
It’s more complicated than that, but when the central nervous system starts developing is where I draw the line, rather than fertilisation, or even implantation.

My name is Elizabeth. I am 17 years old and I took place in the day of silence. Not only did I remain silent at school like most, but I did through the whole day. As I walked into places, people would ask me questions about it, and I would gladly hand them a flier explaining myself. I believe not enough people are aware of the true tragedy of abortion. I go to a small charter school in a smaller setting of a town, and I was suprised how many people had the arm band and red duct tape on their mouth. One thing that bothered me was people not taking it seriously. Though some didn’t, the fact that people saw the red tape over their mouth sparked interest. I am very proud to say that I participated in this event. I will gladly say that I am pro-Life, pro-choice isn’t a choice, it’s murder.
