But actions do speak louder that words. McCain supports the DOMA — which expressly leaves the matter up to the states — while Obama has promised to repeal it. McCain also supports California’s Prop 8, the state marriage initiative, while Obama opposes it.
Obama opposes “leaving it up to the states” every time it comes up.
