If that were true the leadership of the Catholic Church would be on the UJCC, they are not (yes, an errant priest or two is on the UJCC). And the Catholic Church of Uganda has spoken out against the entire bill. Don’t delude yourself that all Christian leaders are in favor of the bill.

Supporting that which the bible calls unnatural. I love the people. I hate the sin. Homosexuality or whatever name you call it is evil, an abomination and detestable before God. You are setting a precedent of wickedness. You are attacking men and following them to gratify yourself instead of following the truth. You need to repent and turn away from your sins and be loving than a relationship spoiler, claiming to be in line with God. You are nolonger innocent when you deny people in Neveda access to health services because you think that Canyon Ridge and Ssempa are on the wrong. What does public health and common sense tell you? The thinking concerning this bill has been rather poor both in its initial inception and in the several proposals for its change, especially that of Ssempa's UJCC. All have been predicated on the hatred of expressions of same-sex love. It seems that the only people who have thought this out quite well have been the primary Ugandan bishops of the Catholic and Anglican faiths who have recommended that the bill simply be dropped. Spot on!
