Rehnquist dies

An era has passed. Rehnquist’s death will focus even more attention to the Roberts nomination. As if the President did not have enough on his plate. Susan (the voice) Estrich said on Fox that she thinks Bush will nominate a moderate since he has been weakened by Katrina. I doubt it.
Given Bush’s track record, I think he’ll nominate the craziest, nuttiest, right winger he can find. That’s what he usually does when under pressure: moves to the extreme.
